HALF MAN Half Biscuit are playing the Stylus at Leeds University Union on December 16.
The indie band was formed 30 years ago as a vehicle for the observations, ramblings and creations of frontman Nigel Blackwell as he spoke against modern life.
Thirteen full-length albums later, they continue to play a handful of UK gigs each year, raising against the rubbish that life throws up with a wry smile.
A spokesman said: “HMHB are a truly genuine band, blessed with a magical capacity to make the most jaded of listeners fall back in love with music again.
“Witty and dry, sardonic yet never cynical, they play melodically infectious yet edgy sing along songs.”
