Oyster band who are playing Holmfirth to support their greatest hits album
OYSTERBAND are taking their electric folk-rock sound to Holmfirth Picturedrome on December 22.
They are touring to support the recently-released ‘best of’ album This House Will Stand.
The band are renowned for a distinctive mix of crafted lyrics, big tunes and deep experience of British traditional music.
The latest CD covering the years 1998 to 2015, comprises 15 songs chosen by the band from their last six studio albums and 14 unreleased tracks, rare B-sides and intriguing "alt" versions.
Six of the tracks are traditional songs, and there are songs from Ragged Kingdom, the band’s multi-award-winning collaboration.
