SOUL music fans from Keighley are making their annual pilgrimage to Blackpool next month.
Members of the Keighley Okeh Soul Club will spend the weekend at the Carousel Hotel from February 3 to 5 for a soul ‘Weekender’.
They will dance to Northern, Motown, classic and modern soul, played by 14 DJs in the ballroom and a chill-out room.
The Okeh Club was originally in Keighley during the 1960s and was revived several years ago, now hosting popular monthly music nights at Victoria Hall.
Renowned Keighley band Soulfish launched their comeback – with the new name Soul Train – during the club’s annual New Year’s Eve ‘Okeh Cokey’.
