KEIGHLEY Comedy Club is promising four amazing comedians and an incredible night of laughter on January 26.

The club, at the Cafe Choux Choux at Keighley railway station, is holding its first event of 2017 from 8.30pm.

Andre Vincent and Big Lou will top the bill following two support performers and a stint by resident MC Chris Brooker.

Chris said: “Star act Andre Vincent may well be the most completely talented man in the comedy business. An incredible stand up, actor, presenter, performer, he is worth the ticket price all by himself.

“From his early days alongside Phil Jupitus to his recent annual turns in panto there's nothing that Andre can't excel at.

“One of the most requested headliners across the nation's top comedy clubs, you might have caught him on TV's Comedy Cuts or, if you were especially lucky, might have seen him support Bob Hope in the US!"

Support comes from Manchester's Big Lou along with two acts performing shorter sets and resident MC Chris Brooker.

Chris added: “Four fantastic acts and a host for less than the price of a trip to the cinema. Just what everyone needs to lift the winter blues after a cash-strapped January.”

Tickets are on sale from Cricketers' Arms in Coney Lane, Cafe Choux Choux, by calling 01535 958017, or online via tinyurl.com/cafechouxchoux.

Comedians are also visiting the Kings Hall in Ilkley through the winter and spring, including John Shuttleworth with his farewell show My Last Will And Tasty Mint on February 27, BBC Radio 4 stars Croft & Pearce who are Not Themselves on March 3, and Count Arthur Strong the “showbiz legend” with his musical reminiscences in The Sound Of Mucus on March 4

Patrick Monahan, a favourite of the annual Haworth Festival, will perform That 80s Show at the Alhambra Studio, Bradford, on March 18.
