THE BANFF Mountain Film Festival Tour is returning to the region with more exciting adventure films.
Two separate programmes together boast 14 diverse films starring the world’s top adventurers on exciting journeys in mind-blowing destinations.
There are high-adrenaline action movies, poignant environmental documentaries, a focus on women in adventure, and films with UK adventurers and athletes.
The films include Four Mums in a Boat about middle-aged British mums who rowed the Atlantic, and Doing It Scared about British climber Paul Pritchard who tried to complete the climb that paralysed him in a fall.
Screenings are at Leeds Town Hall on February 2 and 3, York Barbican on March 8 and Hebden Bridge Picture House on April 25.
