WHAT DO you do when you’ve spent years stuck in non-speaking parts but you want the lead role in the new show?
Shy teenager Gregory knows he’ll lose to theatre school starlets Xephyr and Sienna if he auditions for Peter Pan The Panto.
So Gregory does a deal with the devil – in the shape of cleaner Lucy Furr -- to get rid of the opposition and step into Peter’s shoes.
What happens next is revealed in the latest comedy-musical from real-life Keighley youth theatre KYDZ.
A cast of 24 children and teenagers will present Break A Leg at Oakworth Methodist Church on Friday and Saturday, March 10 and 11, from 7.15pm.
The audience will see Gregory’s increasingly-desperate attempts to work his way up the cast list, as fellow cast members are hit by scenery, fall through trapdoors, eat poisoned cakes or plummet to their doom.
When he realises he has been tricked by Lucy, Gregory most venture to the dangerous land of Behind The Scenes to put things right.
