ELVIS Presley is just the first of a host of stars visible at the Octagon this spring.

But don’t expect the real thing, for the Keighley venue is continuing what it does best – hosting tribute acts.

Mark Summers presents his Elvis act on March 17, taking fans from the Sun Records years, through movies Jailhouse Rock and Viva Las Vegas to later arena tours.

Shang-A-Lang will arrive on March 31 to perform a tribute to the 70s teenybop group the Bay City Rollers with songs like Bye Bye Baby, Give A Little Love, Summer Love Sensation and Keep Dancing.

Jake & Elwood Blues Brothers, on May 12, is a tribute to the famous film comedy full of soul and blues classics.

Rock Stewart performs Rod hits like Maggie May, Reason To Believe, Sailing and Baby Jane on May 26.

The Rag Dolls perform a tribute to West End show Jersey Boys and the group Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons on June 23.

Away from the tribute world, the Octagon will host a concert by The Wild Geese along with James Garvey and guests on April 7, in aid of the Margaret Carey Foundation. And there will be an 80s night with a band and disco by DJ Funky Phil on April 28.
