HAWORTH Band will perform at the village’s Methodist Church, in West Lane, on Saturday, March 18.
The band has been rehearsing for the 6.30pm concert for several weeks with musical director Steve Williams.
The concert has been organised by the church to celebrate the recent redecoration of the main hall.
The band will play a selection of traditional and modern brass band music, including Deep Harmony and the Worth Valley Railway from Three Haworth Impressions. Both of these pieces were specially composed for the band.
Haworth Band has been active in the village for many years, and has its own band room above the Fleece pub in Main Street.
