MUSIC of the legendary Matt Monro lives on at the King’s Hall in Ilkley.
The Matt Monro Story, performed on April 5, is subtitled One Voice – The Singer’s Singer.
Matt Monro Junior (pictured right) celebrates the life and music of his father in what is described as an unforgettable and inspired evening featuring.
The show features songs like Born Free, Portrait Of My Love, Walk Away, Softly As I Leave You, From Russia With Love, Yesterday and This Is The Life.
A spokesman said: “Audiences will be transported in time by this incredible tribute to one of Britain’s most popular and endearing singers, named The Singer’s Singer by his peers.
“Complete with audio visual and narration, Matt Monro Junior will sing the songs and share the stories during this great evening of music and nostalgia.”
