T?REXTASY are back at Colne Municipal Hall to celebrate Marc Bolan’s 40th anniversary.
Tribute band T.Rextasy, who have themselves been on the go for 25 years, can be seen on May 5.
They will transport audiences back to the 70s for songs like Telegram, I Love To Boogie, 20th Century Boy, Jeepster and Children Of The Revolution.
Marc Bolan and his band T.Rex was one of the most flamboyant and charismatic stars of the original glam rock era, famed for his Rock-a-Boogie style.
T.Rextasy have been accepted as the world’s only official live tribute band dedicated to Marc Bolan and T.Rex, and the only band endorsed and approved by Marc Bolan’s family, estate and original ex-members of T.Rex.
A spokesman said: “This full-on concert showcases all of the hits and more, with both electric and acoustic performances, faithfully recreating the energy and performance of Marc Bolan and T.Rex.
“Bringing audiences to their feet across the globe, the whole family will enjoy the experience of being transported back to the 70s to re-live the experience of attending a Marc Bolan concert live.”
