A WOMEN-only course will help budding writers and artists follow in the footsteps of the Brontë sisters.

Inspired By The Brontës is the title of the four-day course next month which will focus on writing and drawing in the landscape.

The students will begin by visiting the Brontë Parsonage Museum in Haworth and learning creative writing with poet Sarah Corbett.

Sarah will be joined by landscape painter Zoe Benbow for a workshop set in the landscape around Penistone Hill and the Brontë waterfall.

A creative writing workshop at Keighley Library will involve Playful Being, who encourage adults to bring a playful approach to life and work.

The course finishes with a poetry reading and artwork display event at the library on July 28.

The course is free to British Asian women, women who hold refugee or asylum status, single parents, and women on low incomes. Email dionne.hood@bradford.gov.uk or call Dionne Hood on 01535 618211 to enrol. H
