A troublesome urban kid Ricky is ordered by child services officer Paula to move to the countryside to live with foster parents Hec and Bella.
After Bella dies, Hec runs away into the New Zealand bush with Ricky.
Hunt for the Wilder People can be seen at the Picture House, North Street, Keighley, on July 16 at 6pm.
