THE WINTER show from Keighley youth theatre KYDZ brimmed with panto baddies like Abanazer, Maleficent and the Queen of Hearts.

The group’s new summer show also has villains but these are the sort real-life children could encounter hiding in plain sight.

These normal-looking miscreants can be seen on Friday and Saturday, July 21 and 22 as KYDZ presents a double-bill of drama, All That Glitters and Interchange.

All That Glitters follows a modern-day relationship between teenagers Katie and Beck after the two meet at a disco.

Beck at first appears the perfect guy but Katie’s friends realise he has a dark side and is gradually taking control of her life.

Interchange is made up of several short plays set in the same bus and train station, each focusing on dramatic journeys during its century of history.

In 1912 a family takes a train to Southampton docks to board a new ocean liner on its maiden voyage to New York.

In the 1960s a teenage girl discovers that not everything is groovy about the big city, and in the 1980s two boys find that shoplifting can be very dangerous indeed.
