ORGANISERS of Bingley Music Live are looking for volunteers to support the festival held in Myrtle Park on September 1, 2 and 3.

Volunteers at the Bradford Council-run festival will receive free entry for the whole festival weekend, a free festival programme, and food and drink while on shift.

A number of volunteering roles are available including Gate Team, Programme Selling, Recycling Team, Campsite Team, Meet and Greet and Information Team.

Diana Greenwood, from Bradford Council which is co-ordinating the volunteering team, said: “Our festival volunteers play a big part in creating a great atmosphere and help festival goers have a fantastic time.

“Volunteering at Bingley Music Live is a fun and rewarding experience, a great way to meet new people and to see what it takes to make a music festival happen.

“Every year our volunteers have an amazing time and many come back to volunteer with us the following year. Volunteering also looks great on your CV for potential employers.

“So if you want to gain experience and have an interest in music, festivals and events management or just want the opportunity to work with a team of fun, like-minded people then we want to hear from you.”

All volunteers must be over 16 and will need to be available for the full three days. Volunteer shifts are around six hours a day with regular breaks allowing volunteers to enjoy the festival.

There are no early starts (before approximately 10am) and no late shifts (past approximately 9.30pm)
