THE HIGH Adventure centre in Cowling is hosting its second comedy night in aid of several charities.

Proceeds of the October 8 gig at the Keighley Road centre will be split between the Alzheimer’s Society, South Craven School PE department and the Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association.

Duncan Oakley will perform an infectious mix of musical comedy and stand up with one of his trusty guitars, displaying musical skills the envy of many rock bands.

Established stand-up comedian Tom Wrigglesworth, who was nominated for a top Edinburgh comedy award in 2009, will offer a disarmingly charming delivery and an unforgettable performance.

Dan Nightingale, the MC, is described as a one-man comedy machine.

The event begins at 7pm and tickets cost £20 including food. There will be a bar. Doors will open at 6.30pm.
