GROOVY Happening promises a night of excellent music played in Haworth by experienced musicians on Saturday, October 7.

Headline band the Rockets are a Keighley based classic blues rock band.

A spokesman said: “They’ve always been well received at Groovy Happening, playing finest quality blues rock for the discerning listener. We’re very pleased to have them back again.”

Big Town Boogie, who came together in May, are a local band who play upbeat blues and RnB with a shuffle and swing “designed to get you tapping your feet and strutting your stuff on the dance floor”.

Rafael is well-known in Haworth as a guitarist and busker on Main Street, playing a wide variety of songs from George Harrison to Katy Perry to Gershwin.

Admission is £3 to the event at Parkside Social Club, Butt Lane, with proceeds going to Manorlands. Doors open at 7.30pm.
