LOCAL writers are being invited to help organise a Spoken Word and Writers Live on January 27 at Keighley Library.
Keighley Writers Group is joining with library staff to host a planning meeting on Tuesday, November 14 from 2pm to 4pm, open to all.
The group is the brainchild of Keighley film and TV actor Michael Thompson who took up the library’s recent offer of space and support to people forming local writers’ groups.
He said: “We are looking for writers who wish to read out loud, and performers who may want to read monologues, poetry or prose."
