COMEDY comes to King’s Hall in Ilkley this month.

First up is Tom Stade with his solo show I Swear on Friday, November 17, followed by Andy Parsons and his one-man show on Monday November 20.

Canadian tour-de-force Tom Stade is back in the UK for an epic blast after a hiatus from the touring scene.

A spokesman said: “Renowned for his carefree attitude and broad-minded vision, nothing is taboo to this enlightened and captivating comedy legend.

“Combining off-the-scale charm, razor-sharp wit and a no-holds-barred attitude, Tom pledges to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

“Kick back and enter the awesome and mischievous world of Tom Stade as he provides an inspiring and incisive antidote to these dark and uncertain times.”

The show, recommended for ages 16 and above, features a comedian previously seen on BBC One’s Live at the Apollo, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, The John Bishop Show and Channel 4’s Comedy Gala.

Andy Parsons promises to reach the peak in a show aimed at people worried about their job, worried about the family, or worried about worrying all the time.

The spokesman said: “Come and have a laugh about it. Go on. Take a risk. Put on your lucky pants and your party shoes – and get yourself on a night out. Or maybe come out dressed in a bin bag, top hat and clogs. We could all use a laugh.”
