HAWORTH Festival organisers are laying on a pre-Christmas treat in the shape of The Hysterical Historical Show.
The two ladies of LipService Theatre are returning to the village to present their latest production.
The duo, who have been touring for around three decades, are renowned for their comedy send-ups of famous literature, including the Brontë sisters’ works.
The Hysterical Historical Show is “part stand-up, part pub quiz and 100 per cent passionate tribute” to six women who made Britain famous.
The show features Elizabeth Raffald the ‘Georgian Delia Smith’, Annie Horniman, Marie Stopes, the Pankhursts, Mrs Gaskell and Charlotte Bronte.
See the show in the Old School Room in Church Street, Haworth, on December 7 at 7pm. Tickets cost £12 and there will be a bar.
Tickets are available by calling 07710 415578 or from Cobbles and Clay or Hawksbys on Main Street, Haworth.
