THE GROOVY Happening is offering only two acts for its New Year’s Eve party in Haworth.

But organisers of the popular monthly music night at the Parkside Social Club promise the punters can dance till they drop because one of the acts six-piece party band Radio City.

Spokesman Ann Wiles said the band’s wealth of experience provided a great mix of music ranging from Tamla Motown to rock to disco!

She said: “We will all hear vocalists Sarah and Lesley singing their hearts out to some fantastic classic tracks. Live music and Phil’s disco will ensure the party atmosphere.

“Our resident and most popular master of ceremonies, Reuben Wilkinson, will be performing classic songs from his massive repertoire joined by friends and special guests.”

The party begins at the Groovy Happening at 7.30pm on December 31 at the Parkside Social Club, Butt Lane, Haworth. Admission is £3 and a raffle will raise funds for Manorlands.

The Groovy Happening is usually held on the first Saturday of every month at the Parkside Social Club with a host of local bands and singers performing in aid of Manorlands.
