COMEDY In The Studio this spring comes from Alun Cochrane, Adam Hess and Glenn Moore. The Alhambra Studio, Bradford, will host Alun’s latest presentation of grumpy-joyful, silly-serious stand-up, Alunish Cochranish, on January 31.

Jokes, ideas and possibly movement will all be deployed for the audience’s amusement by the man seen on several TV programmes and radio comedy shows. Alun has won Chortle Awards for Best Breakthrough Act and Best Compere as well as additional accolades with the Writer’s Guild Award For Comedy.

Adam Hess and Glenn Moore will perform a double bill on April 14, with their respective stand-up shows Cactus and The Very Best Of Belinda Carlisle.

Adam is an Edinburgh Comedy Award-nominated performer and star of Tonight at the London Palladium. He’s five foot eleven, he hates other families’ plates, and he had his 18th birthday party on a riverboat on the Thames so when people realised how boring it was they couldn’t leave.

Glenn Moore presents his second ‘relentlessly silly, gag-laden show’, this time telling how he lives with his granddad and tried to solve a case of a missing person.

The recommended age for both shows is 16-plus.
