CRICKETING legends Jonathan Agnew and Geoffrey Boycott will visit Halifax on January 17 to discuss the many lows for England.

In readiness for the final Ashes test of the season, they will host An Evening With Boycott & Aggers at the Victoria Theatre.

The outspoken pair have both been covering the Ashes tests as part of BBC Radio’s Test Match Special, and have been watching every ball closely.

Geoffrey Boycott will be telling Jonathan “Aggers” Agnew exactly what he thinks about the players, their performance and many other topics in this new show.

As ex-cricketers, both Boycott and Aggers present a unique perspective on cricket and cricket culture. The show is peppered with wickedly funny anecdotes and tall tales from these two broadcasting legends.

Members of the audience can also tweet Aggers live with their own questions, in an evening that promises to be fun, fiery and full of surprises.

The event is being run in aid of the Professional Cricketer’s Association, raising money which will go to the organisation’s Benevolent Fund.

Former cricketer and Test Match Special commentator Jack Bannister said: “If you take all the people I have worked with, Boycott is a mile ahead of any of them, he really is. I rate him that highly. His content is flawless.”
