AUDIENCES can celebrate ‘The Change’ with Menopause The Musical at the Victoria Theatre in Halifax.

Stars of stage and screen are joining forces for an all-singing, all-dancing show on February 20 after selling-out performances across the world.

The musical stars Cheryl Fergison (Eastenders), Maureen Nolan (The Nolans), Rebecca Wheatley (Casualty) and Hilary O’Neil (ITV’s Copy Cats).

It is said to be is packed full of one-liners about night sweats, hot flushes and memory loss, and is backed by an instantly recognisable soundtrack of innuendo-laden versions of pop classics.

The four main characters meet by chance and bond over their woeful lives experiencing The Change, but soon realise this stage in life is unavoidable in every woman’s life.

The “hysterical and uplifting” show promises to have audiences laughing and singing all the way home.

Cheryl Fergison believes Menopause The Musical is therapy for the soul, adding: “This show simply had to be made. It tells you it’s okay to talk about the subject”.

Maureen Nolan added: “The timing is great for this show. Women just seemed to be desperate for a great night out. Menopause The Musical entertains with 23 songs such as I Will Survive, but re-written with comedy lyrics.
