KEIGHLEY-born artist Ben Snowden is joining artists from across the globe to highlight global warming.

He is exhibiting work in the Our Earth exhibition at the Kunsthuis Gallery in Crayke, North Yorkshire, until December 23.

The exhibition, which looks at climate change and the environment, features artists from Japan, Israel, the USA, Brazil, Argentina, Ireland and across Europe.

Ben, who is currently based in Bradford, works in a variety of media and is influenced by the human form, abstraction, the natural world and the poetry of William Blake.

Ben is taking part in two other exhibitions opening this month, including Art Roundhay Park at the Leeds park’s Mansion Conservatory, running until early June.

He is also among 10 local artists taking part in the Self-Taught exhibition at Shipley Library, running until June 9. There will be a meet-the-artists day on June 2 from 11am to 1pm.

Ben will exhibit work as part of Saltaire Arts Trail 2018, running from May 5 to 7.

Ben’s work can be seen at the Silson Contemporary, Harrogate, as part of a winter exhibition of work by established and emerging artists.
