KEIGHLEY band Skeletal Family will end the month headlining the Absinthe Music Festival in Whitby following a successful tour of North America.
The Goth rockers have played along both coasts of the USA as well as travelling to Canada.
Musician Roger “Trotwood” Nowell said the tour finished with a sold-out gig at the Mercury Lounge in New York. There were also gigs in Montréal and at the Photo City art house in Rochester, New York state. He said: “We played to over 300 people in Los Angeles, and all other gigs were well-attended.
“We have Cleopatra Records wanting to release us in the US. We did a radio session while here too.”
Skeletal Family were leading members of the mid-1980s Goth rock scene before disbanding, then reformed almost two decades ago.
