Going for gold with Stage 84

Performing arts school Stage 84 has produced its own Olympics-themed musical entitled Sporting 2012.
The school, which has many students in the Keighley area, sent 60 members to Birmingham Bobby Music For Youth National Festival.
Sporting 2012 features lyrics written by the students, who are aged seven to 21, and music composed by Guildhall School of Music and Drama student Vahan Salorian.
The piece features characters and scenes inspired by the sporting events coming to London this summer and has been well received by audiences and musical adjudicators alike.
Sporting 2012 will also be performed at the O2 Media Awards in Leeds on July 18.
