Free summer holiday family activities are offered at the National Media Museum, Bradford, including live shows, workshops and media and technology demonstrations.
Science of Media presents fun live shows from August 27 to September 1, The Not So Sleepy Hedgehog about light and shadows and Danger High Voltage about electricity and magnetism.
The What Do You See? Science Show (July 31-August 2) asks if you can paint with light, see smiling unhappy faces, or make a person vanish.
Science Museum’s comedy team Punk Science, asks whether TV detectives can get DNA from a fart? ((August 14 and 16) while Spectrum Drama will appear as historic characters talking about electricity
and photography (every Friday and Saturday throughout the holidays.
Major new exhibition In the Blink of an Eye: Media and Movement features family workshops on paper animation (July 21-August 3) and Slo-Mo (August 4-17) 4 - 17 August. No booking required).
There are Motion Capture demonstrations (August 7-9).
