THE John Verity Band is returning to Bingley Arts Centre fronted by the former Argent musician.
Blues-rock guitar legend John is promoting his new album 'My Religion' during the gig on November 11.
The Bradford-born rock veteran is described as still at the top of his game, with playing that is immaculate and full of passion.
John Verity played with Argent in the 1970s, supporting rock luminaries like Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, The Who, John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers and Mountain.
He also recorded alongside Ringo Starr, Keith Emerson, Greg Lake and Zombies, as well as recording and touring constantly with his own solo and band projects.
John began last year with a number one album in the blues charts and continued with sold-out gigs and festivals in the UK and Europe.
My Religion was officially released in March as a CD. Due to popular demand, and for the first time since the 1980s, vinyl copies are due to follow later this year.
Support for the John Verity Band on November 11 will come from the Matt Edwards Band, from Oxford.
Matt is an original blues rock musician. His music is passionate, alternative blues, packed full of groove and power.
He released his debut album, 'Follow The Plan', in 2012, writing and playing all of the instruments himself. Today Matt has recruited an exciting live band and is busy playing across the UK.
