A YOUNG "Tropical-pop" quartet from Edinburgh will be playing at Leeds' Brudenell Social Club this month.
Indigo Velvet will perform at this venue on Thursday November 10.
Members include Darren Barclay – vocals/guitar, Jason Tucker – vocals/guitar, Billy McMahon – drums and Laurie Adam – bass guitar.
The group have enjoyed a breakthrough year and been dubbed as "one to watch" by Scotland on Sunday and Clash Magazine.
They have been invited to play on BBC Introducing, Communion Records’ Radio X show, Amazing Radio and most recently at a live session on the
Janice Forsyth Show on BBC Radio Scotland.
Thanks to a steadily growing fanbase, they have now clocked up over 150,000 plays via Spotify and performed to sizeable crowds at XpoNorth, Lindisfarne Festival, and T In The Park.
The band is now ending a successful year with a 12-date UK tour – including the gig in Leeds – accompanied by the release of their new single, called ‘Sunrise’.
Doors open at 7.30pm and advance tickets are £5. Visit brudenellsocialclub.co.uk/whats-on/marsicans/ for more booking details.
