THE next Blues & Roots night at a Riddlesden pub will feature three popular solo acts.

The evening, hosted by Ben Blue Waters, will be at the Willow Tree at 8pm on November 12.

It will include young guitar virtuoso Henry Parker, whose style draws on traditional folk, but is given a modern twist all of his own.

Rooted in the sound of 70s folk guitar, Henry's music is based on a repertoire that incorporates original instrumentals and solo arrangements, all of which are bound together by a creative and distinctive finger-style approach.

Also playing will be Diamond Dac, who started his musical life fascinated as a child listening to the radio stations on his parents' set while playing a toy banjo.

He has performed in New York, 12,000 feet up in the Trap Bar of the Rocky Mountains, as well as at French taverns, pubs, clubs, art centres and festivals all over the world.

The line-up will be completed by Chris Martin, a blues shouter and guitarist, who plays slide and finger style and also lap style.
