ORBISON And Friends can be seen at Keighley’s Octagon on Friday October 6 in a ‘star-studded’ tribute show.

The 8pm concert will feature hits like Only The Lonely, Dream Baby, In Dreams, Pretty Woman, It’s Over, You Got It and Drove All Night.

Bradford band Penny Arcade will also perform during the show at the club on Bradford Road, Sandbeds, and there will be set by Funky Phil the DJ.

November 24 will see one of the most in-demand bands on the folk circuit, playing the Octagon.

Blackbeard’s Tea Party are described as a formidable seven-piece band who whose high-octane stage show went down a storm at Glastonbury Festival.

The Blackbeards will be joined at the gig by the “enigmatic” Felix Hagan And The Family.

Octagon owner John Pennington said: “Felix is an explosion of high-energy glittering madness, a mix of camp, pop, punk and classic rock.”

Completing the triple bill will be Neil Brophy, who has received acclaim on BBC radio.

Award-winning Canadian blues rock guitarist and singer-songwriter JW Jones will perform at the Octagon on December 8.

Winner of the International Blues Challenge 2017, he will be playing songs from his latest album High Temperature due out on October 20.

High Temperature is the follow-up to JW’s JUNO Award-nominated 2014 album Belmont Boulevard, which held the number one position on Canadian roots radio stations for 13 weeks.

High Temperature features JW’s touring bassist Laura Greenberg with an all-star cast of session musicians including bassist Dominic Davis (Jack White, Tom Jones, Beck) and drummer Bryan Owings (Emmylou Harris, Robert Plant).
