KEIGHLEY promoter Saby Khan landed an interview with top Dutch rapper Imran Khan for his new radio programme.

Highfield man Saby, alias Sabir Hussain, chatted with Imran while he was touring the UK.

Saby, who has been involved in the urban music industry for more than two decades, said he was shocked when Imran Khan approached him to offer an exclusive interview.

He said: “I felt honoured that one of the Europe’s biggest names in invited me to his concert in Glasgow to speak about his work and future projects.

“I also discussed about getting Imran Khan into working with UK rappers and hoping to make some music videos in Yorkshire.”

The interview can now be seen on the Internet version of Bradford Council-funded station Bradford Asian Radio at facebook.com/sabykhanmedia.

Saby said Imran Khan came on to the International scene in 2010 with his hit song Nachleh, from the soundtrack of British comedy film The Infidel, and he made his Bollywood debut as a singer for the Hindi film Tevar in 2015.

Saby said: “As of 2016 the song has more than two million hits. Khan released a single titled Imaginary in 2015 and shot the video with David Zennie in downtown Los Angeles.

“Imaginary’s official music video received six million views within a month of its release and currently has more than 31 million-plus views on YouTube.

“Khan came out with another song called Hattrick, which currently 11 million-plus views.”

Imran Khan’s other hits include Amplifier, Bewafa, Imaginary and Zina, with over 100 million views on his songs on Youtube.
