KEIGHLEY Live is the title of the latest music festival coming to the town.

Main Line Live are organising the all-day event at the Exchange Arts Centre in Russell Street on Sunday April 1.

Promotions company Main Line, co-founded by former Riddlesden man Ronan Charnock, promise a spectacular showcase of home-grown talent from both Keighley and surrounding areas.

Ronan said: “Featuring 10 bands bands of extraordinary ability, plus a late-night EDM and Electronica segment, Keighley Live is set to offer something new and unique to the Keighley music scene.

“Headlining are local indie-rock band The Sheratons, who will no doubt do their hometown proud with another stellar performance.”

The members are variously inspired by 60s, 90s and Noughties rock, punk, and modern music.

Ronan said: “As different as their inspirations may seem, the music does the talking. You only have to watch them play to see their four different styles unify.”

Propelled By Rockets, who kick-off the festival, are a three-piece playing ‘rough and ready’ rock.

Halifax band Violet Disguise boast an eclectic DIY sound combining dreamy melodies with a gritty, grungy undertone. Incorporating raw and relatable lyrics, catchy choruses and big atmospheric guitar riffs, the band pack a powerful punch.

Aberdeen alt rock quartet Broadsea burst onto the underground rock scene last year with debut EP “Manmade Horizons”, multiple tour dates, showcases and high-energy festival performances.

The line-up also includes Loomer, REGAN, The World Keeps, Critical Reaction Ego States and Trigger Thumb. Keighley Live will run from 12.30pm until 2.30am.
