ACOUSTIC solo acts will perform at the next Blues and Roots night on Sunday, April 8 in Haworth.
Organiser Ben Blue Waters play will play footstomping slide guitar blues to begin the 2.30pm concert at the Black Bull in Main Street.
Doug Nissley, an American singer/songwriter now living in West Yorkshire following a lifetime of nomadic living, will play rock, Southern Americana and country music.
Ben said: “A bit of grit in Doug’s voice is right at home with the soulful heartfelt songs of experience and life.”
Henry Parker's music is rooted in the sound of the 60s folk guitar scene, with his performances incorporating traditional material alongside original songs and instrumentals, bound together by a creative and distinctive finger-style approach.
Ben himself will perform raw and intense versions of songs by such blues masters as Son House, John Lee Hooker, Howling Wolf and many others.
