This CD is just released, or rather re-released (previously titled The Rat Pack of Opera) to coincide with a UK tour.
It's an inoffensive, mellow offering of some popular easy listening tracks (Impossible Dream, Can't take my eyes off you) and some not so well known.
The three tenors are easy on the ear and bring their own operatic experience and backgrounds to create new interpretations of the songs. It's a warm and pleasing listen, but if you are a fan of opera music, it's difficult to see why you wouldn't just go and buy the more famous tenor albums from Pavarotti and friends instead.
