LOWER Laithe Circuit is the name of the latest guided walk organised by Bradford Council countryside volunteers.

Anthony Green will lead the five-mile circular walk around the Lower Laithe reservoir, taking in Stanbury.

Meet on the Haworth Parish Church steps at the top of Main Street on Sunday January 21 at 10.30am.

A Trail Of Two Tarns, on January 24, is an eight-mile linear walk over varied terrain to Burley in Wharfedale.

The walk, led by Howard Lloyd, sets off from Ilkley rail and bus station at 11am and will take in notable viewpoints. It will finish at Burley in Wharfedale with rail and bus links back.

David Anderson will lead a six-mile circular walk entitled Sconce For Lunch on January 31, setting off for Menston library in Main Street, Menston, at 10.30am.

This is a walk with plenty of ups and downs via Hawksworth Spring Wood and Reva before returning to Menston.

February 7 sees a seven-mile circular walk entitled Baildon’s Welcome Way, led by Eddie Nash. Meet at Shipley Glen opposite Bracken Hall Countryside Centre at 10.30am.

5 miles of the walk follows the Welcome Way, a new 28-mile circular walk connecting the Walkers Are Welcome communities of Otley, Burley in Wharfedale and Baildon.
