SOUTH Craven Walking 4 Health are holding their annual bazaar in Cross Hills to raise cash and showcase their activities.

Stalls will sell bric-a-brac, books & DVDs, toys and games, garden and vegetable plants, and cakes. There will be an exhibition and video about the walks.

A spokesman said: “We have been organising ‘health walks’ for 10 years and the bazaar is an opportunity to showcase them.

“We have daytime time walks on Monday and Thursday mornings, and our Wednesday summer evening walks are ideal for working people.

“People who are interested in joining us are welcome to come and talk with the walk leaders about the walks.”

South Craven Walking 4 Health organise regular ‘health walks’ specifically aimed at people who need to undertake some physical activity for health reasons.

The walking group is one of over 400 schemes in England supported by the Ramblers.
