MALHAM will feature in a new television series, Best Walks With A View, hosted by TV presenter Julia Bradbury.
Julie has picked out eight family-friendly treks that can easily be done in a morning or afternoon.
The series will take the viewer uphill and down dale, along valleys and coastal paths, across rivers and streams, and through fields and woodlands.
Along the way Julia meets many interesting people from the local area and also delves into the history of places she visits.
Among the featured walks is one in Malhamdale, in the Yorkshire Dales, taking in Janet’s Foss, Gordale Scar and Malham Cove.
The TV series is accompanied by a book, which is called Unforgettable Walks and is published by Quercus, costing £16.99.
The series can be seen on ITV on Fridays at 8pm.
