CROSSFLATTS is the location for the latest guided walk by Bradford Council’s countryside team.

The six-mile circular walk on Sunday, led by Martin Dyche, will begin at 10.30am by the Royal pub in Micklethwaite Lane.

A six-mile circular walk to Tong Park Dam, led by Raymond Wood on March 5, will begin from Saltaire railway station at 10.30am.

Through The Woods To Thornbury is the title of a seven-mile circular walk on March 8, beginning at 11am at the council car park at Apperley Bridge (Rawdon Meadows).

Malcolm Gardner will lead hikers through the woods of the Leeds Country Way to Thornbury Barracks, returning via Calverley.

Cullingworth is the setting for a six-mile circular walk on March 12, led by Martin Dyche and starting from Cullingworth War Memorial in Halifax Road at 10.30am.

Prehistoric Moorland will be explored during a circular four-mile walk taking in more land and a steep climb. Meet Gillian Dale at 11am at the Cow and Calf car park, Hangingstones Road, Ilkley Moor.

Ken Allen Senior will lead walkers across the moors at Leeming for five miles, taking in views of several reservoirs, on March 19. Meet at Oxenhope railway station at 10.45am.
