A SIXTY-FOUR-year-old man was remanded in custody charged with gross indecency and indecent exposure with children under 16 when he appeared at Skipton Court.
Brian Hearns, of no fixed address, faces four offences of committing an act of gross indecency in Bradley with a girl under 16, between May 2, 1982 and May 1, 1983.
He is also accused of a similar offence on a girl under 16, between September 15, 2003 and April 30, 2004.
In addition, Hearns faces three charges of exposing his genitals in Bradley on dates between May 2004 and September 2006.
He is accused of a ninth charge of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child under 13.
Prosecutor Allan Armbristen said there was no application for bail and requested that Hearns be remanded in custody for 28 days for committal papers to be prepared.
Hearns is next due at Skipton Court on June 6 when he is expected to be committed for trial at Bradford Crown Court.
