Steeton Methodist Church was full on Sunday when the Rev Barbara Walls took the all-age worship service which included the Junior Church prizegiving. The service next Sunday at 10.30am will be led by the Rev Jennifer Lunn and holy communion will be celebrated.
The next meeting of the Methodist Church’s Wednesday Evening Fellowship is on Wednesday, November 28, at 7.30pm when Derek Proctor will give an illustrated talk on “Southern India”. All are welcome.
St Stephen’s Ladies Fellowship enjoyed a light-hearted evening presented by Margaret Lancaster. Humorous monologues and poems were much enjoyed.
St Stephen’s Advent fair is this Saturday from 10am-1pm. There will be stalls, a tombola, raffle, Father Christmas and refreshments.
