Santa opens grotto to aid hospice fund
4:00pm Friday 30th November 2012 in News
A Santa’s grotto will open at a Keighley children’s centre on Saturday.
Dragon’s Den Kids Party and Play Adventure in Dalton Lane will also raise money for Martin House Children’s Hospice.
In association with Pearson & Associates accountancy firm, Dragon’s Den will hold a fun day on Saturday, with 50p from each entry fee going to Martin House.
And 15 per cent of the Santa’s grotto ticket price will also go to the charity centre, which is based in Boston Spa.
The hospice supports more than 450 children with life-limiting illnesses, and needs to raise £4.9 million each year.
John Haigh, corporate fund-raiser at Martin House, said: “It’s a great pleasure to have the support of companies like Dragon’s Den and Pearson & Associates.
“We would like to thank everyone involved for coming up with such a wonderful fundraising idea.”
