Heathcliff has been immortalised... in a bedroom!

The romantic character from Emily Bronte’s Wuthering Heights has had a hotel room named after him.

It features an original oil painting of Haworth Moor and period furniture.

The room is one of seven at the refurbished Craven Heifer in Addingham that have been named in honour of famous Yorkshire sons and daughters.

Others include the Crow’s Nest Room, in tribute to Captain James Cook, and the Owzat Room honouring Fred Trueman.

Each also features a wall mural with a quote pertinent to the individual it depicts.
