Free citizenship course is offered

A Keighley community centre is hosting an English citizenship programme for women who are not UK or EU nationals.
The free eight-week programme is being offered by the Bangladeshi Community Association (BCA), in Kensington Street.
To be eligible, women must not be EU nationals, refugees, asylum seekers or failed asylum seekers. They must also not have been resident in the UK for more than 10 years.
A BCA spokesman said the course was designed to improve knowledge of the English language and support women preparing to take the Life in the UK test.
