Keighley police officers presented two sackfuls of gifts to youngsters on Airedale Hospital children’s ward.
The presents had been bought and wrapped by the 30-plus staff working in the divisional control room.
PC Lisa Smith, from the control room, said: “We wanted to create a little bit of Christmas spirit for those children on the ward over the festive period.
“Being in hospital can be hard for anyone and taking a little bit of time to think of others can often go a long way.
“We are dedicated to the community we serve and hope this brought a smile to a few faces.”
