Sheepdog trials are back again

An annual event which has so far raised £18,840 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance will take place again in Oakworth on New Year’s Day.

The sheepdog trials at Moor Lodge Farm are organised by Carol Mellin and her son Philip. The contest will run from 9am till dusk.

There will be on-site catering, and also an auction at 1pm hosted by Jeremy Eaton of Skipton Auction Mart. Anyone willing to contribute should contact Mrs Mellin on (01535) 643556.

Last year’s trials raised £2,301.
