Volunteers from the National Trust will work in the Great Barn at East Riddlesden Hall on February 10. The Great Barn, regarded as one of the greatest barns in northern England, was originally made of wood then in the late 16th century was clad with stone.

The West Yorkshire branch of the volunteers visits National Trust properties every second fortnight to carry out conservation work. Members also meet for social occasions. Anyone interested in joining should call (01904) 702021.
