Big donations are boost to Keighley Salvation Army campaign

Keighley's Salvation Army topped off this year’s Christmas appeal with two large donations from regular benefactors.

Sovereign Health Care Charitable Trust gave £1,500 to help provide toys and food for deprived Keighley families.

And Bradford Cinderella Club provided an undisclosed sum – described as “substantial” by the Salvation Army – to the appeal.

Thanks to big-hearted Keighley people the Salvation Army and its volunteers this week provided toys to about 200 Keighley children, and food parcels for their families.

Bradford Cinderella Club was formed in 1890 to "reach and afford amusement to” the poor children of Bradford.
