Nearly 20 nominations have been submitted as part of a scheme to reward unsung heroes in Denholme, Cullingworth, Harden, Wilsden and Crossflatts.
The annual Community Heroes initiative is being run by Shipley Area Committee to honour individuals and groups who are active in their local communities.
The deadline for nominations was on December 21, and winners will receive £200 to donate to a voluntary or charitable organisation.
An area committee spokesman said a panel of judges, made up of councillors, will assess the nominees. Results will be announced at an awards evening in Victoria Hall, Saltaire, on March 21.
