Bracken Bank banner helps fly the flag
A banner created by Bracken Bank children aims to put the estate's community centre on the map.
The banner was designed by the Bracken Bank Parent and Toddler Group with support from Artworks Creative Communities.
The group meets at the Sue Belcher Centre on Bracken Bank Avenue, where the banner will be displayed as soon as weather permits.
The banner was funded through a Big Lottery Family Learning Grant.
Community volunteer Alex Brown said: “It is bright and cheerful and will finally end the anonymity of the building which has never had signage before.”
